Women’s Skirt Suits & Women's 3-Piece Suits
Feminine, great for summer, spring and early fall, the skirt suit is a truly underrated look. At Watson Ellis, we're making all kinds of custom skirt suits happen. We can make many styles of skirts with a wide variety of different waistband designs, pockets, seaming and buttoning options. Remember, we're a custom company, which basically means the sky is the limit. And of course the fit is fully customized to your body.
It's important to keep in mind that you can include the skirt option as the "third piece" in a 3-piece custom suit at Watson Ellis, in place of the traditional vest. Many of my female clients are opting for this. It's super versatile this way - so many different outfits can be put together using pant, skirt and jacket combinations as anchor pieces. That being said we CAN do women’s vests too!
To reiterate by way of giving some broader context for women, we offer bespoke suit services for women in NYC. We stand by our belief that we tailor-make the best women's custom suits (and skirt suits ;)) in the city. We have over 10 years of experience fitting all body types, weather you are looking for a women’s petite suit for work, or you are a completely different size in pants than up top (aren’t we all?) we got you.
We are a female-led company, and we design and construct with women in mind. At Watson Ellis, women are not second-class shoppers, which is unfortunately how many of us are made to feel when we visit other male-oriented custom companies. If you are truly a tough fit, we will suggest we make you a full two or three piece suit muslin. We have to get it right!
Unlike many companies and RTW, OUR women's custom garments are less expensive than our men's. You will always see two price ranges under the fabric descriptions, one for men and one for women, because it takes less fabric to make a women's garment, and women need only a 1/2 canvassed jacket to mold better to their breasts, whereas men always have a full canvassed jacket. It's not right that women should be paying more or (equal to men) for custom!
